The Advanced Search function can help you create an accurate savings quote if you are using a non-standard tariff.
Examples of non-standard tariffs include Capped or Fixed Price Tariffs, 'preserved' or 'historic' tariffs (tariffs which are no longer sold) and tariffs where the price you currently pay is dependent on the date you signed up. Just select your current energy supplier brand, fill in your annual usage details as printed on your most recent bill and proceed by clicking Advanced Search.
Advanced Search is recommended or required for users of the following tariffs:
- British Gas Click Energy, Discounted Electricity, Fix and Fall, Future Energy, all Price Protection tariffs
- EDF Energy Capped Tariff, Green Tariff, Zero Carbon, Future Energy and Energy Online
- Green Energy UK 100
- npower Sign Online
- E.ON Capped, Energy Extra, EnergyOnline (if signed up before April 2007), Extra Saver, Energy Guarantee, all Price Protection tariffs and Green tariffs
- Scottish Hydro/Southern/Swalec RSPB and Price Protection tariffs
- ScottishPower Capped Price, Green Plan, Online Energy Saver, Price Fall (H20 customers should select ScottishPower and use the standard search facility)
- Telecom Plus Low User or Medium User tariffs
